Obituary for Robert "Bob" George Baker

Robert (Bob) Baker passed away on August 31, 2018 in Reno at the age of 86 years. Bob was born in Chicago to Robert Conrad and Charlotte Baker. Bob was a proud veteran, having enlisted in the US Air Force and serving during the Korean War, and retired after 42 years with United Airlines in Sacramento.
He loved the outdoors, camping, and especially Lassen Park. He was an avid vintage auto enthusiast who restored several cars in the past and could identify almost any vintage car on the street.
Bob was friendly, kind and had a contagious smile. He was simply a good man, and will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace Bob, our Dad, Grandpa, and Dear Friend.
He is preceded in death by his son Miles Douglas, and survived by three children, Scott, Kim and Bradley, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 9:00 am till 9:45 am with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 am at Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Ave, Reno, NV 89503.
