Obituary for Juanito Adion Mandap

Juanito Adion Mandap, 86, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Reno, NV. He was born in Tarlac, Philippines on May 13, 1932.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his beautiful beloved wife Erlinda, his three loving children, Elizabeth, Lourdes & Rodolfo and six adorable grandchildren, Rachel, Anthony, Angelina, Lauren, Jamie & "Late Baby Angel Sebastian" and three wonderful daughter/son-in-laws, Perpetua, James & Jim. He and his wife Erlinda were married for 56 years.

He was generous and cared deeply for his family. They were the most important people in his life. He and his wife left the Philippines in 1969 to come to the United States to make sure his family had a good life. He proudly became a U.S. citizen on August 26, 1975. He worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco in 1970. He worked as a Purchasing Manager for the Holding Company in San Francisco in 1972 until his retirement in 1996.

Juanito had a strong character, spoke his mind and was fearless. He was a long-time member of the Sheriff’s Association. He was a great cook. His specialty were Filipino dishes. He loved watching tv, listening to his favorite music, cooking, driving, taking care of his cars and gardening.

Juanito will deeply be missed.
